Getting HERE
Turns out, location is everything.
Metropolitan Tract sits where Seattle does its best work and has its best time — close enough to Pike Place to smell the flowers, steps from Benaroya Hall, and a short walk from light rail that puts the rest of Seattle right within reach.
Everything iconic. Steps away.
- Benaroya Hall: 1 min walk
- Seattle Art Museum: 3 min walk
- Pike Place Market: 5 min walk
- Seattle Waterfront: 7 min walk

Getting here is the easy part.
By Light Rail
Symphony Station, on the Sound Transit 1 Line, opens directly beneath the Tract at 3rd Avenue and University Street. From there, it’s a one-block walk east into the heart of the Tract.
The 1 Line connects downtown to Sea-Tac Airport in roughly 40 minutes, to Capitol Hill and the University of Washington in under 15, and to the Eastside via the 2 Line transfer at International District/Chinatown.
By Bus
Third Avenue, just steps from the Tract, is downtown Seattle’s busiest transit corridor — home to RapidRide lines C, D, E, and H, plus dozens of King County Metro and Sound Transit Express routes serving West Seattle, Ballard, Aurora, the Eastside, and beyond. The closest stops are 3rd Avenue & Union Street and 3rd Avenue & Seneca Street, both within a one-minute walk.
For schedules, real-time arrivals, and trip planning, visit Sound Transit or King County Metro. Both accept ORCA cards, contactless payment, and the Transit GO Ticket app.
